I’m not quite sure what happened! There used to be Video Vibe which showed new music videos that did not yet or would not have ever made a countdown. Then we had of course Rapcity which is for rap heads and also invited rappers on set to bless tha booth and showcase their talent. The midnight love for all tha freaks for a lil scenery. And last but definitely not less Uncut which promoted videos that could not or would not be shown during the day. Uncut really connected a huge underground circuit across the nation. In 2009 none of these shows exist. Now we’re stuck wit 106 & park. And that’s it…….. All the shows have been replaced by reality shows, rerun sitcoms, and movies. I use to enjoy BET because it was well rounded. Am i the only one who thinks BET is starting to imitate MTV??

lol damn ma you long winded… But thats true BET has bitten into some of that stereotypes that America(the US) has bestowed upon the black population.
When something becomes a flop, there is always something that comes along HOTT…and anything I miss I just YOUTUBE it all day every day. I mean I can go back to shows like, ‘What’s happening’ and Video’s like ‘Mr.Telephone Man’. YouTube is the new BET, MTV, VH1…you name it. YOUTUBE got it. And what I like about it, is even the new comers, or people who may never make it to BET, or MTV, we can enjoy their music, videos, or any other talents, or things people JUST WANT TO SHARE. But because BET has lost alot of viewers, (Mostly the ones 26 and up, LOL) We chose underground, or just watch other programs all together. Though I don’t like what is on BET these days, I know some of you can agree, that when you are turning the TV you turn to BET ANYWAY just in case! LOL. Some of the reality shows are commical. But as you see, BET is appealing to a different crowd and younger genre. And what’s sad is that there is no substance. Where is the education? We shouldn’t have to wait until Sunday to hear about black history, and some form of spiritual guidance, or hear in detail what’s happening POSITIVE in our black communities. How sad BET has become, then we wonder why so many other races stereotype us, because regardless of what we think of BET, it unfortunatley still is a representation of black people, and some minorities….WE GOTTA MAKE A BETTER CHANGE WHEN OUR TIMES CHANGE FOR THE WORSE!

Hell yeahs!! They show all BS shows and 106&park don’t even show the whole video. I don’t look at BET for music anymore. I look on the net. To me it seem BET is very very MAINSTREAM. where that came from IDK.
Man I dont even watch that shit no more, if I wanna see videos I just google em online or go to world star hip hop and watch them. Hopefully yall will start posting videos and interviews soon
